Job Description

About the Role : Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Payroll Analyst. This individual will support the end-to-end processing of weekly and biweekly payroll for ~3,300 employees (union and non-union) across multiple US states. The role also includes cross-border collaboration with the Canadian payroll team. Responsibilities : Process weekly and biweekly payroll cycles Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting Handle garnishments, off-cycle payments, rejected deposits, and quarterly/annual tax adjustments Liaise with ADP Smart Compliance on filings and local tax ID setup Support W-2 and quarterly tax filings Address employee inquiries via HR case management tools Collaborate across compensation, benefits, and HR teams Maintain documentation and support SOX compliance Qualifications : ~5+ years of US multi-state payroll experience ~ Strong working knowledge of payroll compliance and research methods ~ Experience with large ERPs (e.g., Workday), ADP Smart Compliance ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint ~ Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills ~ Collaborative team mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Required Skills : ~5+ years of US multi-state payroll experience ~ Strong working knowledge of payroll compliance and research methods ~ Experience with large ERPs (e.g., Workday), ADP Smart Compliance ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint ~ Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills ~ Collaborative team mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills : Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) Experience with Pennsylvania and Ohio payroll SAP and HR ServiceNow experience Previous exposure to payroll cleanup, audits, or system transitions Pay range and compensation package : ~50/hr
