Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with a global tech leader to hire a Seattle-based Creative Director (Design) to join the Brand Design team. This role will cover a maternity leave and is responsible for driving the creative vision across a broad range of brand and seasonal marketing campaigns. This is a remote-first position , but all candidates must be local to the Seattle area and available to attend in-person shoots, collaborative work sessions, or on-site meetings as needed.

Location : Remote (MUST be local to Seattle)

Duration : August-December 2025

Pay Rate: $85-90/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide high-level creative direction across digital, social, broadcast, print, and out-of-home marketing channels
  • Lead the concepting and execution of brand and seasonal campaigns, visual identity systems, and product storytelling
  • Art direct studio and lifestyle photography, collaborating closely with photographers, stylists, and production teams
  • Develop and present compelling creative ideas in response to strategic briefs, balancing big-picture thinking with detailed execution
  • Collaborate across design, copywriting, production, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive creative delivery
  • Maintain design consistency and elevate brand standards across all outputs
  • Dive deep into stakeholder objectives to craft solutions that resonate globally while reflecting a strong local point of view

Basic Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in creative direction or design, ideally within an agency or brand-driven in-house team
  • A portfolio that highlights brand campaigns, seasonal storytelling, and cross-channel execution
  • Strong experience with photography art direction, including editorial and lifestyle shoots
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Confident presenting creative work to senior leadership and cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background working with leading brand or design agencies
  • Deep knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and design systems
  • Experience creating campaigns for large-scale product launches or seasonal moments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an exceptional eye for detail
  • Collaborative communicator who thrives in fast-moving, feedback-driven environments
  • Strong bias for action and the ability to lead through ambiguity
