Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant for a Contract job with a client in Addison, TX/ Newark, DE(Hybrid) . Candidates must demonstrate hands-on expertise in developing automation frameworks using Core Java and BDD Cucumber.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Core Java and BDD Cucumber for PEI Claims Automation.

• Design and execute automated and manual test scripts to validate business, technical, and functional requirements across web applications and backend services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore automation developers and senior leadership, to ensure alignment on testing strategies and deliverables.

• Manage and mitigate testing risks, ensuring timely completion of all QA deliverables and adherence to quality standards.

• Utilize tools like Selenium, Git, SQL, and Jenkins to support continuous integration and delivery in an Agile environment.

• Provide clear and concise status updates and documentation to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the testing lifecycle.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in automation framework design and development using Core Java.

• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber for end-to-end test automation.

• Strong experience in Agile testing environments with expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
