We are looking for a Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration technician with 8+ years of experience to join our team!

Temperature Engineering is family owned and operated. Our fabrication shop is located in Brighton, CO and we service customers throughout the Denver Metro Area.

Job Requirements:

• EPA certification required
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and equipment diagnosis
• Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (driving record will be checked)

Skills Required / Job Description:

Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair:

• Refrigeration equipment : Walk-in coolers/freezers, prep tables, make-up air and exhaust hoods.
• Application of mechanical skills and understanding of internal components, evaporators, compressors, motors and electrical components.
• Commercial HVAC equipment : Ability to diagnose, repair and install roof top units, mini splits, VRF systems.
• Perform thorough preventative maintenance inspections ; identify potential repairs or recommendations. Confirm operational status of mechanical equipment. Document before/after photos of units.
• Navigate mobile phone app for dispatching and time tracking. Upload detailed job report, including materials used and photos of equipment worked on.
• Assist on commercial construction projects as needed. New equipment installs, ductwork, remodels, VRF transitions.
• Ability to communicate and work well with our team, in addition to working well independently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
