We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Property Manager with Tax Credit experience to support the daily operations of a multifamily community. The ideal candidate will assist the Property Manager with compliance, resident relations, financial reporting, and leasing activities while ensuring the property operates in accordance with all company policies and affordable housing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations and administrative tasks
• Ensure full compliance with Tax Credit regulations , including file audits, income certifications, and recertifications
• Maintain accurate and organized resident files in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Support leasing efforts, including touring prospects, processing applications, and executing leases
• Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution professionally
• Assist with rent collection, posting payments, delinquency follow-up, and reporting
• Prepare and review reports, invoices, and vendor documentation
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely work order completion
• Enforce community policies and assist with move-ins and move-outs
• Support physical inspections and compliance audits as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager or similar role
• Required: Proven Tax Credit experience
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and documentation
• Experience with property management software (Yardi, Onesite, RealPage, or similar)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tax Credit or Affordable Housing certification (a plus)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
