Warehouse Material Handler

No experience needed. Willing to train. Now hiring Warehouse Material Handler Blythewood, SC just north of Columbia, SC Pay rate: $16.50 per hour Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6 am-3:30 pm & Friday, 6 am-10 am Overtime schedule: Will work until 3:30 pm on Friday and Saturdays, 6 am-3:30 pm

What's involved:

• Responsible for care and safe operation of equipment to ensure no damage to merchandise, equipment, or facility.
• Work with the flex conveyor and scanner when necessary.
• Follow a flexible schedule, including regularly scheduled changes to shift and work assignments with similar but department-specific responsibilities and objectives.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment; ensure all equipment is in working order.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

What's required:

• Time management skills in order to meet dynamic goals and deadlines
• Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to read and understand policies/procedures and work with other employees to adhere to them
• Operate standard business equipment, including PC, phone, calculator, etc.
• Operate handheld scanner and associated equipment
• Operate specialized computer hardware and software including (but not limited to) Warehouse Management System, Item Database, Yard Management System, etc.
• Stay on your feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and keep a steady pace
• Follow safety rules and keep the floor clear
• Show up, clock in, and put in a solid day's work
