iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.
Job Description & RequirementsPOSITION SUMMARY:
* Epic electronic medical record.
* TWO years Med/surg experience required.
* RN IL license, BLS (American Heart)
* Current State license as a Registered Nurse required.
Shift requirement: No Call.
Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday on Day Shift and either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday on night shift to follow unit patterns)
Every other Holiday (Days holidays are: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Nights holidays are: Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day Eve, the 3rd of July Nights, and Labor day Eve).
* Floating is required, all nurses in department are Gen Med competencies and therefore may be asked to float to any Gen Med unit throughout hospital. Travelers Float First.
* Bed size/number of rooms in the unit: It currently has13 Bed unit, we have been approved/ plan to expand to up to an additional 10 beds in new expanded location.
*Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5; 25/7
* Dress Code: No childish scrub characters, as we are an adult unit.
