Looking for an exciting travel role in Rochester, NY ? We have an evening shift opening for a skilled General X‑Ray Technologist with on‑call responsibilities—including weekends and holidays. Must be able to report within 30 minutes of an on‑call alert.

🕒 Schedule

Start Date : 07/07/2025

End Date : 10/04/2025

• Days :
  • Monday - Friday; Days: hours may vary based on needs; no call and no holidays
• Sunday – Thursday
• On‑call, callbacks & holidays per unit needs
• Must report within 30 minutes of call‑in

🩻 Position Overview

Provide diagnostic radiography in a Level 1 trauma environment during evening hours. Your work will support physicians and complement ER workflow with speed and accuracy.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and physician orders using dual‑identifier protocols
• Educate and reassure patients about procedures
• Safely position patients—including those with limited mobility
• Operate X‑ray, C‑arm/O‑arm equipment per ALARA and safety standards
• Capture high‑quality diagnostic images and upload to PACS
• Monitor patient status and adhere to age‑specific care needs
• Report equipment issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for smooth operations

🎓 Requirements

• Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Active ARRT certification
• NYS license (or able to obtain prior to start)
• 2+ years X‑ray technologist experience , with Level 1 trauma background
• BLS (AHA)
• C‑arm/O‑arm experience within the past 8 months
• Physical ability to lift/move patients and stand long hours
• Clear analytical and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient‑centered attitude
• Team‑oriented and adaptable
• Able to arrive within 30 minutes on call

$75.20 OT Hourly taxable
$560.00 Meals & Incidentals Per Diem (Tax Free)
