Production Assistant

Salary: $15.69 - $16.71

Position Overview

Join us as a Production Assistant at The Arc Ontario. We are looking for a dedicated team player to join our bottling line workforce. The role involves fulfilling bottling contracts with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality results on time. Responsibilities include executing daily contract requirements using approved techniques, maintaining product quality, following work site safety practices, and participating in necessary training sessions.

Work Location: Canandaigua, NY

Schedule: Relief/Substitute - 8:00am-12:00pm the number of hours will vary depending on business needs and there is flexibility in schedule to meet agency needs

Responsibilities

• Performs bottling tasks required to carry out daily contract requirements, according to agency instructed techniques. Ability to work at any station on the bottling line.
• Responsible for adhering to contract requirements by achieving required production rates and quality specifications. Participates in quality control activities, such visual observation of the product as well as weighing to ensure proper quantity.
• Receives direction from the production controller and manager regarding assignment of duties each day.

Requirements

• Over one-year relevant work experience with knowledge of production operations.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs
