Private Chef for Healthy Vegan Cooking

Seeking an experienced chef specializing in healthy vegan and raw food preparation tailored to specific health requirements.

Responsibilities:

Culinary Duties:

• Wash produce following strict sanitation standards. (50%+ of this job is washing large amount of produce)
• Prepare juices, smoothies, and simple vegan meals (both raw and cooked).
• Occasionally create special meals for gatherings of up to 6 people during major holidays.
• Prepare extra meals for small family visits (1-2 times a month).
• Pick up groceries as needed.
• Utilize fresh produce from our garden.

Housekeeping Duties:

• Clean kitchen items (dishes, pots, pans) and operate kitchen appliances.
• Launder kitchen linens (rags, towels, napkins).
• Maintain an organized pantry and clean refrigerators.
• Clean kitchen and dining room floors.
• No housekeeping outside of kitchen/dining area required.

Additional Information:

• Schedule : 5 days a week, 6-7 hours per day (occasional holidays).
• Travel : No travel required.
• Privacy : Must sign an NDA; discretion is essential.
• Health Protocols : Strict sanitization processes are required due to a family member's health issues.
• Language : Fluent in English.

We are looking for a professional, organized, positive, up-beat and self-motivated chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients and can creatively prepare meals while adhering to our dietary guidelines. You will follow specific recipes daily, but will also have the freedom to create additional healthy rawfood and cooked vegan dishes.

Our home is a calm and peaceful environment, and we seek someone who can integrate harmoniously into it. This is a long-term position (3+ years).

Note : Our home is chemical and fragrance-free. Please refrain from wearing scented products. We do not have children or pets.
