We're seeking a highly motivated, upbeat, and comprehensively certified Pilates instructor to teach in-person - and join our team of Physical Therapists and Pilates Instructors in Metairie, LA.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Tandem Physical Therapy is a locally owned physical therapy clinic in Metairie, Louisiana specializing in serving adults in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s and has a strong wellness program which includes flexibility classes, private and group Pilates lessons, and virtual programs. Our owners, Lauren and Christy are both physical therapists and long-time friends. Together, they opened Tandem PT in June 2018 and have seen consistent growth ever since. Tandem PT believes in providing exceptional care and customer service to the people in our community so they can stay active and healthy throughout their life.

We have a unique model that allows us to deeply understand our patients and the problems they need solved. This has allowed us to develop meaningful relationships and grow our practice largely through return patients, their friends and family.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You're comprehensively certified to teach Pilates - or have extensive experience teaching and practicing Pilates on the mat and with Reformer and Tower.
• You have experience leading and teaching dynamic small group classes that are engaging and challenging for a range of levels.
• You love teaching Pilates and you’re passionate about keeping up your own practice as well
• You’re outgoing, positive, and energetic - and people love being around you
• Growth is a priority for you and you can’t get enough of learning new things
• You love people - and absolutely thrive on delivering a world class client experience
• You enjoy working with awesome clients who are active and aged 40+
• You're a team player - and can leave your ego at the door.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Teaching small group mat Pilates classes 
• Teaching Private Sessions utilizing Reformer, Tower and mat exercises
• Light cleaning, laundry (on-site), and maintenance of Pilates equipment/Apparatus
• Keeping Pilates area organized, stocked, clean, and well-maintained
• Keeping Pilates apparatus clean and well-maintained
• Adhering to a schedule 
• Subbing for other instructors when needed.
