QUALIFICATIONS

• 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education and Certification ( Minimum to include Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Springboard)
• Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Exo-Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience. Comfortable adding TRX, Barre and Trigger Point modalities to teaching repertoire.
• Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety.
• Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus-based group class and demonstrated group reformer instruction abilities.
• Up-to-date CPR training or willingness to obtain.
• In-depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates.
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates.
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars.
• Able to work harmoniously with others.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Pilates instruction to include Intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled by management and pursuant to Club Pilates standards.
• Create a safe yet creative group class experience.
• Stay up-to-date and implement Club Pilates education standards at all times.
• Contribute to a positive learning and teaching environment for all clients and fellow instructors.
• Maintain safety standards at all times. 
• Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
• Maintain certification requirements.
• Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment.
• Provide exceptional level of customer service.
