Payroll Specialist

Location: New Orleans (CBD)

Duration: 6 mo Contract to Hire

Hourly: $20/hr

Start Date: June 2nd

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll support or administrative support.
• Basic understanding of payroll concepts and timekeeping practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

A gas utility client of Insight Global is looking for a Timekeeper/Payroll Clerk to support daily timekeeping operations. This role will support data entry, record maintenance, and timely processing while providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
