The Electronic Technician position supports the plant by checking, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections/adjustments may need to be made
• Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals in mind
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actions
• Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts
• Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performed
• Comply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operations
• Locate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processes
• Maintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in a organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliably

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Required:
• Associates degree or 2+ years of vocational training
• Three or more years' experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee
• Knowledge and experience working in the following areas: Power Transmission, Lubrication, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Electrical Applications (12VDC to 480VAC), Process Control & Sensors, PLCs & Networking, Automation, and Test Instruments
• Experience performing Preventive Maintenance on industrial equipment
Desired:
• Experience with maintenance technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Thermography, Ultrasound Inspection, Oil Analysis, and Precision Alignment
• Certifications in mechanical/industrial fields (electrician, millwright, welding, etc.)
