Position: Licensed Creative Arts Therapist The Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) will provide individual and group treatment to facilitate patients' recovery and reintegration into the community. The therapist will document initial assessments, weekly notes, and develop multidisciplinary treatment plans as part of the care team. Responsibilities: Provide individual and group therapy using creative arts techniques in music, art, and dance. Perform and document weekly assessments during the patient's stay. Participate in clinical conferences and performance improvement activities. Utilize creative arts interventions to support mastery and coping skills. Demonstrate a range of creative arts techniques to support patients during procedures. Experience and Qualifications: Master's degree in Creative Arts Therapy, with eligibility for New York State License or limited permit. Two to three years of experience, including at least one year on an inpatient unit. Expertise in at least one creative art form such as art, music, or dance. Knowledge of and ability to address historical and current client issues.
