Position: Computer Repair Technician 

Location: 421 New Sanford Rd, La Vergne, TN 37086

Terms: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$19.50 an hour Base Pay Earn up to $21.50-$22.00 an hour with incentives

JOB SUMMARY 

A successful Repair tech is responsible for handling multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve set production output goals. The tech must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Software. Techs must be able to read, comprehend, understand and follow all Work Instructions for each function performed. Have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues as well as identify potential quality related problems quickly. Excellent troubleshooting skills to isolate and diagnose common hardware/software problems. Ability to replace and repair desktop and laptop parts. Ability to recognize cosmetic defects or flaws and be able to tear down/replace cosmetic repairs. Position is in warehouse environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must have A+ Certification or equivalent OR related degree.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience repairing laptops or desktop computers.
  • Able to pass basic terminology and troubleshooting/diagnostic computer repair activity.
  • Have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues as well as identify potential quality related problems quickly.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to isolate and diagnose common hardware/software problems.
  • Ability to replace and repair desktop and laptop parts.
  • Ability to recognize cosmetic defects or flaws and be able to tear down/replace cosmetic repairs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Software
  • Be required to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve set production output goals.
  • Must live in the La Vergne, Tennessee area.

 

Work Environment:

  • Regular work performed in a climate-controlled, warehouse environment.
  • Ongoing usage of computer systems

     

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds, without assistance repetitively.
  • Ability to make repetitive movements including but not limited to bending or squatting.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time unassisted.
