Learn more at: About the Role As a Founding Sales Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting leads and engaging principals, to partnering with PTAs so parents understand the benefits of our programs. You’ll work closely with the CEO and our product and teaching teams, developing a scalable sales process that will soon drive growth in other new markets. Ownership & Autonomy: As a founding AE, you’ll have significant input on sales strategy and processes—and your success sets the tone for our entire org. Responsibilities: Own Pipeline & Prospecting: Visit target schools frequently, maintain accurate records in our CRM, and ensure that administrators and district staff know who we are—even if they’re not ready to host our classes yet. Develop a Scalable Sales Process: Develop a trackable method for prospecting, closing, and onboarding schools that can be replicated as we expand. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product and teaching teams to onboard new schools smoothly, collecting feedback for continuous improvement. Educate & Present: Fully understand Lando’s offerings and the local after-school landscape, addressing any concerns from administrators with clear, concise solutions. Qualifications 1 to 3 years in quota-driven roles (e.g. SDR, BDR, AE) with a strong history of exceeding quotas and outperforming peers Confident communicator comfortable engaging principals, teachers, and PTAs, both on-site and in presentations. Strong closer who thrives in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments (startup experience is a plus). Passion for education or youth enrichment (volunteer tutoring, camp counseling, etc.) is highly desirable but not a requirement. Commission: Uncapped ($20,000–$50,000 expected) Unlimited PTO (with a recommended minimum of 2 weeks) $2,000 equipment credit + top-of-the-line MacBook Pro (or equivalent) Reimbursed for travel Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, long-term disability, and 401(k) Location You’ll be based in Seattle, visiting local schools regularly, with occasional trips to Palo Alto, CA for key meetings.
